Breaking Boundaries
Breaking Boundaries depicts Bitcoin’s resilience and its relentless drive to transcend traditional financial barriers. Since its inception in 2009, Bitcoin has faced relentless skepticism: first criticized as having no intrinsic value, then scrutinized for its association with illicit activity, later doubted for its security. It was claimed that Bitcoin could never scale, that its environmental impact was too severe, and that regulation would ultimately end its journey. Yet, despite all these perceived obstacles, Bitcoin endures, continually pushing past each barrier, breaking through centralized financial norms and defying national borders.
This piece captures that unstoppable momentum. The central wave of neon hues—radiant electric blues, purples, oranges, and yellows—symbolizes Bitcoin’s energy as it shatters these boundaries. The fractured glass shards represent the dissolution of outdated systems and the breaking of borders, emphasizing Bitcoin’s power to create a more accessible, global economy.
Breaking Boundaries was created using a combination of AI and editing tools, beginning with the concept and iterating through ideas for color, composition, and form. Once I settled on a vision, I crafted a prompt to generate a draft, refining it through edits and upscaling for print. The process felt remarkably fluid, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out—it’s one of my favorite pieces in the Bitcoin Collection to date.
Breaking Boundaries is limited to just 512 prints.
